Collection: Honest Ed's Marquee Series
This series is made from original marquee signage from Honest Ed's, preserved in its existing aged condition and presented as sculptural artifacts. Very little restoration was applied to the surfaces; the wear, fading, and material history remain intact.
Each work functions as a form of visual documentation, holding onto the physical memory of one of Toronto’s most recognizable landmarks as it transitions from public signage to archival object. The series reflects on urban impermanence, material decay, and the quiet endurance of cultural symbols after they leave the streets.
